University of Roehampton 2021 - Current

Program Management of a portfolio of projects that support the student experience. This has included a review and reset of a legacy student records project, the establishment of a new programme supporting the student experience with robust programme governance, the successful procurement of Ellucian Banner student records system, student engagement monitoring, a new mitigating circumstances system, placement management and the establishment of a process to support the approval of capital expenditure.

The implementation of the student records system has been the main focus of the programme with the University completing the Admissions implementation in less than 9 months. The current focus is implementation of student records systems for the end of 2024.

University College London 2016 - December 2022

Working with a large Russel Group University with some 45,000 students is a challenge but we successfully improved their student records implementation to support both the central services and faculty and department staff to provide a more cohesive student experience and achieve real staff efficiencies. Set up and secured recurrent funding for a multi year improvement programme to SITS Student Record System.

Working closely with the Project Executive to establish a multimillion-pound change programme, the Student Experience Transformer.

Supported the Head of Exams with the planning of the examination activity to introduce some project management tools making the process more robust and transparent, ready for anything which they proved with the change UCL introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic to support online assessment.

Bath Spa University 2016, 2019, 2020

Supporting two restructuring projects working for the Chief Operating Officer.  In 2016 I facilitated the restructure of a a number of Schools into a College.  In 2019 I supported their programme manager providing additional resource working on a major reorganisation across the institution.  Both had a challenging remit and were successfully delivered.  In 2020 I worked with the University on the repositioning a School working on the scope and start up of the project before handover to internal project manager.

With limited project resource having a consultant who has familiarity with the organisation has proven to be beneficial with an economic approach.  The service I have been able to offer is through the relationships and knowledge I have acquired to provide seamless support for their projects when they have experienced staffing shortages.

Mandy Frost Equestrian Coach
2015 - 2022

Working with Mandy Frost Equestrian Coach for a number of years I have been her Mentor during an MSc in Sports Coaching.  Supporting her through setting up her brand, writing a book and self publishing it, refreshing her website to make her very busy coaching activity more efficient.

I enjoy being able to empower people to achieve their goals and seeing them develop.

Many small businesses face challenges for which they don't have the relevant specialists   I offer services that are able to advise and manage the change in their organisation and assist in identifying the issues they face whilst diverting resources available to facilitate that change.   In this business with limited resource we restructured two operational areas to set up consistent shift patterns.

During the implementation we identified and introduced system improvements, internal communication and process changes.
